With your help, the Senate just took a major step forward to advance peace in Yemen.

Yesterday, it passed S.J. Res. 7 to end illegal U.S. military support for the Saudi-led war in Yemen by a vote of 54-46.

End Illegal U.S. War in Yemen

Urge your members of Congress to end U.S. complicity in Yemen war.

Act Now

Years of war have caused widespread hunger and created the world’s worst humanitarian crisis. The Saudi-led coalition, supported by our government, caused the majority of the civilian casualties. Through this vote, the Senate told the Trump administration that it is time for U.S. military support for the Saudi-led coalition to end.

Now, the legislation will go back to the House for a final vote. If the bill successfully passes, it will be the first time legislation enforcing the 1973 War Powers Act will land on the president’s desk since the Vietnam War era.

Act now. Send a message to your senators in response to their vote and another urging your representative to pass the Yemen War Powers Resolution.

This victory was made possible by years of grassroots advocacy. We hope you will help us cross the finish line.
