As I write this, the people of Yemen are experiencing a horrific humanitarian crisis. The Saudi-led war on the Yemeni people has contributed to widespread malnutrition. Preventable diseases like cholera and diphtheria are claiming lives at alarming rates. The U.S. has been contributing military and intelligence resources to the Saudi-led war.

In response to this crisis, FCNL has spent the last three years advocating for an end to U.S. complicity in the war. As FCNL’s Kate Gould said, “Just a couple years ago, members of Congress would tell us privately that they didn’t know Saudi Arabia was waging this war, let alone that the United States was enabling it.”

It takes years to build support and ultimately win Congressional votes on critical issues like ending U.S. support for the war in Yemen. You make this work possible.

Become a Sustainer

As a result of relentless pressure by grassroots advocates like you, the House of Representatives voted in February to end U.S. military participation in the Saudi-led war in Yemen. Next week, we’re expecting a floor vote in the Senate.

It takes years to gain traction, build support, and ultimately win Congressional votes on critical issues like this. That’s why FCNL’s more than 1,400 monthly donors are so critical—they provide the sustained support necessary to successfully advocate on critical issues.

Today, would you consider joining as an FCNL sustainer—a monthly donor—to support our work to end the devastating war in Yemen?

Advocacy and financial support from people like you has made all the difference. When you join FCNL as a sustainer, you empower people across the country to persistently advocate for a more just and peaceful world.
