On February 6, FCNL joined 25 other national religious organizations, representing nearly 50 million people of faith, in sending a letter to Congress on the climate crisis. The letter urged members of Congress to set aside their political differences and work to address climate change.
We wrote, “As communities of faith we hold values of stewardship and justice. We recognize that God’s creation is sacred and thus we are called to responsibly steward the gifts of creation while protecting our most vulnerable neighbors and communities.”
We do not have time to waste. The effects of climate change are already devastating communities across our country and world. The American people need their political leaders to look past the partisan divide and come together to the climate policies that science demands.
