May your holidays and 2018 be filled with love.
The medicine this sick world needs is love. Hatred must be replaced by love, and fear by faith that love will prevail.
—Peace Pilgrim
Her only possessions were a comb, a pen, a map, and the clothes she wore. Peace Pilgrim (Mildred Lisette Norman) walked 25,000 miles, trekking across the United States seven times between 1953 and 1981, speaking to thousands on peace and nuclear disarmament. A member of the Wider Quaker Fellowship founded by Rufus Jones, Peace Pilgrim began her journey at the height of the Korean War.
