Join in an afternoon of education, networking and action on October 9 in Sandy Spring, MD.
An education, networking, and action forum to better understand the world refugee crisis and how to help refugees resettle locally. Speakers from the International Rescue Committee and the Friends Committee on National Legislation, new neighbors (former refugees) talking about their experiences, and faith and community leaders sharing their process in becoming part of the solution. Break-out groups to address the questions and concerns of participants. The doors open for registration and light refreshments at 12:30pm the day of the event.
Free event, $10 donation requested, space is limited.
