The eighth Tribal Nations Conference hosted by President Obama will convene on September 26.

In preparation for this final conference of his term, the President has issued a report on accomplishments led by his administration through 2015.

Both critics and supporters agree – this administration has been unusually active in promoting federal relations with Indian nations. The summary report covers everything from land use to Promise Zones and from schools to business loans.

Even against a background of rebuilding and repairs in relationships still needed, the report lays out an impressive array of initiatives.
