Since war erupted in Sudan, more than 8.5 million people have fled their homes, roughly a fifth of the population, and nearly 16,000 civilians have been killed and more than eight thousand injured. In the face of violence and atrocities, local peacebuilders continue to work in their communities.

Let us hold in the Light all people killed, displaced and suffering due to violence in Sudan. Let us hold the humanitarians working to alleviate the anguish in the Light. Let us hold the peacebuilders acting to end the violence in the Light.
