Vladimir Salas Moreno was FCNL’s 2022-2023 program assistant for nuclear Disarmament and Pentagon spending. He worked to help ensure the eradication of nuclear weapons and restitution for those affected by those weapons. He lobbied Congress to reduce the amount of money going into the pentagon budget and to redirect those funds to communities who are in need of them.
Vlad is a recent graduate from George Fox University in Portland, Oregon, where he earned a B.A. in Political Science and Public Relations Communication.
Prior to starting at FCNL, Vlad spent the past few summers working for the Board of Commissioners office in Multnomah County, Oregon. While at the Board of Commissioners, he worked on providing resources for immigrants, developing clean energy initiatives, and supporting solutions to community
violence.
