Veeka Malanchuk is a sophomore at Beloit College in Wisconsin, majoring in Russian and education with minors in geology and Spanish. Veeka’s passion for understanding communities started in her hometown of Rome, Georgia. That passion has led her to Japan, Moldova, and Peru. Through these travels, she has developed a strong interest and commitment to raising community awareness around environmental issues.
