Meril Mousoom is from Queens, New York, and goes to school in Minneapolis-Saint Paul. They’ve been in advocacy since they were 13, and it is their passion in life. They are currently in college studying race and ethnicity, something that will help them in roles like this one.
As a BIPOC, disabled person, they particularly love exploring the intersections between race and disability justice. Outside of activism, they enjoy dancing to Korean pop and reading young adult fiction. They spend a lot of time with their beloved cat, Meow Meow, who is a big motivation in their life.
