As FCNL’s Planned Giving Director, Kendall works with individuals and families who desire to be advocates for the future of FCNL. Kendall helps friends with the process of supporting FCNL through gifts from their estates, life insurance, or lifetime giving vehicles such as charitable gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts.

In 2009, Kendall began walking families through the process of planning their estates. As an attorney focused on wills, trusts and estates, Kendall served the various goals and objectives of philanthropic families. He has also gained insight into the planned giving needs and desires of institutions thanks to his time as a Director of Planned Giving at Rice University and most recently at Baylor University. He also earned his bachelor of arts in communications and later his law degree from Baylor University.

Kendall is a person of contemplative faith based in Waco, Texas. In his free time, he can often be found traveling throughout the state to visit his two daughters who both live in Austin, and his parents in his hometown of Denton, Texas. He will likely find some live, local music to enjoy along the way. Kendall also remains an active member of the Waco community. He supports the foster and adoption system by serving on the Board of Directors for CASA of McLennan County. He is also a local business owner and supports the arts in Central Texas every chance he gets.
