Daniel is a researcher, writer and organizer who has been catalyzing local communities on the issue of climate change for several years. While living in New York, Daniel was a member of Alfred Friends Meeting. He has worked in over ten research and organizing positions, with a variety of organizations, largely on climate change legislation and grassroots organizing.
This year, Daniel has founded an organization, working towards nonprofit status, which focuses on interfaith involvement in sustainability and development, something which he feels passionate about. To further his understanding of the field, he is pursuing a graduate degree in Conflict Transformation at Eastern Mennonite University, the same community which he will be lobbying with, and working to foster a grassroots climate action movement in.
