Clare Carter is FCNL’s 2022-2023 program assistant for Quaker engagement. In this role, Clare will serve as a liaison between network members involved in Quaker communities and the organization of FCNL. She works to increase Quaker engagement within FCNL, and to keep the organization up to date on what is happening in Quaker spaces across the country.
Clare is a recent graduate from Emory & Henry College from Knoxville, Tennessee where she double majored in Theatre and Philosophy and a minored in Political Science.
Clare wrote her thesis on ethics and protest and used theatre to discuss women and gender issues. She also had leadership roles in her school’s student government association and various clubs.
Clare has also been involved in the board of directors of the local advocacy organization in her college town and worked as a tutor for an upper-level theatre class. She enjoys travel and cooking whenever she can.
