Senate Ratifies New START Treaty

In December 2010 the Senate ratified the New START Treaty which will reduce the number of deployed nuclear weapons, moving us closer to a world free of nuclear weapons.

Senate Moves to Prevent Violent Conflict

FCNL helped build the bipartisan list of cosponsors a resolution calling on the U.S. government to help prevent genocides and mass atrocities, which the Senate approved in mid-December 2010.

Congress Approves Native American Settlement

This December success clears the way for hundreds of thousands of Native Americans to receive the money that the federal government owes them for the use of their land.
