Nov 10, 2011

Senator Daniel Akaka (HI) recently introduced the Stand Against Violence and Empower (SAVE) Native Women Act (S. 1763). After being referred to the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, a full committee hearing on the bill was held on November 10. The bill is expected to be voted on soon.
