Department of Energy to Provide Technical Support for Tribes

In conjunction with the White House Tribal Nations Conference, the Department of Energy unveiled the Strategic Technical Assistance Response Team (START) initiative. The initiative will provide funding to support the development of clean energy projects in Indian County that are designed to improve economic conditions and to create jobs. Applications for the program are due by January 15, 2012.
