Chapel Hill Friends Meeting Minute on Immigration

In accord with the Friends Committee on National Legislation, The Chapel Hill Friends Meeting unites to urge Congressman David Price to co-sponsor H.R. 4321, Comprehensive Immigration Reform for America's Security and Prosperity Act of 2010. We support the principles embodied in this act to foster family unity, to provide a reasonable pathway to legal status for undocumented immigrants, to provide safe and legal avenues for both high and low-skilled workers to migrate to the United States, and by promoting uniform, binding and humane standards for detention as well as alternatives to detention.
