UAW supports the EPA

Dear Senator: The Senate may soon vote on the McConnell amendment (S. AMDT. 183) to the pending S. 493, the SBIR/STTR Reauthorization Act of 2011. This amendment would strip the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of its authority to regulate greenhouse gases that cause climate change and endanger the health and welfare of all Americans. The UAW strongly urges you to vote against the McConnell amendment.
