FCNL Endorses American Muslims FAQ

The Friends Committee on National Legislation sees “What is the Truth about American Muslims? Questions and Answers“ as an important educational document not only for faith communities but in civic education efforts for all communities. Having accurate information on religious freedom, the history of American Muslims, and a description of faith and practice, including sharia will lead to greater tolerance and stronger civil society.

Quakers seek peaceful and nonviolent solutions to personal and societal problems at all levels. The seeds of war are sown in communities that tolerate verbal and physical violence in its many forms or that tolerate the disrespect of ethnic, gender, racial, religious, and other differences.
