Memorial Day Week of Action Index

Memorial Day is traditionally a day when our country honors those who have fallen in war and restates the country's commitment to caring for veterans. We believe the best way to honor our veterans isn't by covering them in a flag. Rather, we should work to cut the Pentagon to ensure that we don't ask more to make the same sacrifice that they have.

Now is the time to act. Current law mandates that the government cut around $1 trillion form the Pentagon budget over the next ten years. And your senators will be in your state on the memorial day recess to meet with constituents. Will you join us in working for a peaceful federal budget?
