Stephen Donahoe

Major Gifts Officer

Stephen started as the Campaigns Program Assistant in September 2008. Last year, Stephen worked at FCNL in partnership with the Community of Christ and Outreach International, helping these organizations to learn better lobbying and advocacy strategies from FCNL. His primary focus was the Our Nation's Checkbook campaign. Stephen is currently the Major Gifts Officer, which involves traveling around the country getting to know some of our strongest supporters.

In May 2008 Stephen graduated from Graceland University, a small liberal arts school in Iowa, where he studied nonprofit management with a minor in peace studies. Throughout college, Stephen was very involved in activism and fundraising toward the goal of ending global poverty. He was also active in other peace and justice issues. He is passionate about creating a more just world.

Stephen's main hobby is traveling, sometimes related to development, and sometimes for fun. He has recently traveled in Colombia and Kenya. He has also traveled in Zambia, South Africa, Nicaragua, India, China, etc. He plans to spend his life working toward a more peaceful world.
