Sandy Robson, Assistant to the Executive Secretary
Sandy Robson is the assistant to Executive Secretary Diane Randall. She is originally from Baltimore, a member of Stony Run Friends Meeting, and has been involved with AFSC’s Mexico Service Project, and the Quaker United Nations Office Summer School in Geneva. Previously, she served as a VISTA for the Parks & People Foundation coordinating sustainability projects for the Baltimore City Public School System.
Sandy graduated from Macalester College in 2008 with a degree in Geography and Human Rights & Humanitarian Issues. Throughout her college years she was active in social justice groups and led a successful Sudan divestment campaign at her college. During her junior year she traveled to India and the Netherlands to conduct research for a publication on the WTO’s possible inclusion of labor standards in its regulations. Prior to joining FCNL's staff she served as the Campaigns Program Assistant, working on Quaker outreach and helping to coordinate lobby trainings throughout the country. She enjoys playing music and long-distance bicycle touring in her spare time.
