Emily Temple
Campaigns Program Assistant
Emily works with Alicia McBride in Campaigns as a Program Assistant, focusing on public engagement and Quaker outreach. She is a recent graduate of Haverford College, where she majored in Anthropology and wrote her thesis on the inadequacies of the Philadelphia family court system. Emily grew up in Chester County, Pennsylvania, where she is a member of Downingtown Friends Meeting and attended Westtown School. Emily has worked with Quakers all over--from La Paz, Bolivia to the mountains of western Maryland, she is thrilled to be able to communicate with Quaker and non-Quaker constituents alike in order to bring forward their interests.
There are many place to love in Washington, DC, but one of Emily's favorite places is Eastern Market. Living close to the market means that luckily for her, she is never far from delicious snacks or adorable babies.
