Deanna Boyd

Legislative Program Assistant, Nuclear Disarmament

Deanna Boyd works with David Culp on the Nuclear Disarmament Program. Originally from Baltimore, Deanna is a member of Stony Run Friends Meeting and is active in Baltimore Yearly Meeting and Friends General Conference, where she has served for several years as a counselor for the High School program at the Gathering.

She has a degree in Leadership Studies and Art History from the University of Richmond. While in school, Deanna studied Renaissance art, architecture and patronage while living in Florence, Italy.

Prior to coming to FCNL, she served as an AmeriCorps VISTA at the Baltimore City Mayor’s Office where she experienced a mayoral transition. Deanna is excited to compare that transition with the transition to a new Executive Secretary at FCNL.
