Barbara Platt

Annual Fund Director

Barbara Platt joined the FCNL staff as the Annual Fund Director in 1997.

Prior to joining the Development team, Barbara served FCNL briefly as a volunteer grant writer. She has also worked for Friends at Pendle Hill (1978-1981) and as Executive Secretary for Stony Run Meeting in Baltimore, Maryland (1986-1991). Barbara is a graduate of the Earlham School of Religion (1986) and of Oberlin College (1977), where she majored in East Asian Studies.

Barbara and her husband, John Butler, live in Silver Spring, Maryland, with their daughters Laura and Sarah. She is a member of Adelphi Friends Meeting. In her spare time, Barb enjoys playing her flute, reading, bread-baking, and puzzles.
