Senate Ratifies New START Treaty
The vision of a world free of nuclear weapons moved closer to reality in December 2010 when the Senate ratified the new Strategy Arms Reduction Treaty with Russia. The New START Treaty will reduce the number of deployed nuclear weapons in both countries and reestablish verficiation visits.
