Welcome to FCNL's New Executive Secretary
Diane Randall
On March 1, Diane Randall became FCNL’s fourth Executive Secretary. Diane brings to FCNL the experience, skills, and grounding to lead our work into the 21st century. Her background includes many years as an executive director of statewide advocacy organizations, a passion for rebuilding the democratic system in our country, a record of achievements in lobbying and citizen engagement and a spiritual grounding in the Religious Society of Friends. Diane is excited to join the staff, the General Committee, and the tens of thousands of citizen activists dedicated to lobbying the U.S. Congress for peace and justice on Capitol Hill.
As FCNL welcomes Diane, we also have celebrated Joe Volk’s 21 years of leadership of FCNL. Although Joe is stepping as Executive Secretary, we look forward to continuing to be in a community with him and his family as Friends, colleagues in the work of FCNL, and as part of the broad movement for peace and social justice.
