Bob Alpern
Field Secretary for Northern California (Part Time)
Bob Alpern has worked as FCNL's Field Secretary in Northern California since 1997. He leads discussion sessions on FCNL's legislative priorities at Friends monthly, quarterly, and yearly meetings, as well as Unitarian Universalist congregations. He also organizes delegations to meet with California's Senators and members of Congress in the First and Sixth Congressional Districts and leads advocacy training for Friends and others.
Bob lives 80 miles northwest of San Francisco in the mountains west of Healdsburg. He served as the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations Washington Office Director and Lobbyist from 1975-1995.
